Unraveled: The Nornavefur Three Piece Set — Fully Illustrated Digital Edition (Ebook)

A knitted world is coming undone — and eleven-year-old Birta may be the only one who can mend it.

When a wreck washes the half-drowned dog Lykkja onto the rocks below her village, Birta pulls him back from the edge — and starts noticing dropped stitches spreading through the moss, the village, and the memories of the people she loves. Saving Lykkja, and the world they share, will take courage, sacrifice, and a kind of mending no one can do alone.

That is the heart of Unraveled — one complete illustrated fantasy, told in three connected parts, set on an island stitched entirely from yarn and rope, with full-colour knitted-style artwork on every page. Across The Dropped Stitch, Threadless and Cast Off, Birta learns to mend her world with her own two hands.

I wrote this story for my own family — to show that no matter how big your dreams are, you should never stop dreaming. It grew into a whole knitted universe, stitched together from yarn, rope and imagination: a story about found family, about craft and care, and about the kind of magic that comes from making things by hand.

If your family loves richly illustrated stories, craft-inspired art, or tales of found family and big dreams, I hope Unraveled finds a place in your home — and becomes something you read aloud together, again and again.
